Beans has always been a very limited artist. If anything Jay exposed him to a level he could never attain much less sustain on his own. There's nothing special about Beans on the mic and his appeal is narrow. He didn't get fucked. The jig is up. Rappers from places like Philly, Boston, Baltimore, DC, etc. for some reason have a hard time penetrating the marketplace and I think it's because they don't have a unique enough sound. If people wanna hear NY sounding/style rap they'll just listen to NY rappers.
Beans looks too old for all of this foolishness. Houses are cheap in Philly. Scrape together your shorts and become a landlord or something. Your time in hip hop has passed you by and talking about Jay is not going to turn back the hands of time.
